23. AGREEMENT WITH ARIZONA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION FOR THE ENCORE FELLOWS PROGRAM Approve an Agreement between Arizona Community Foundation and Maricopa County for the Animal Care and Control Department to allow participation in the Experience Matters Encore Fellows Program from October 24, 2011 through October 19, 2012. There is no expense incurred by Maricopa County. Isabel LeRoy, Encore Fellow, will be working with MCACC from October 24, 2011 through October 19, 2012 to develop and implement a program to identify pet ownership in the Latino community, address issues to increase positive outcomes in pet adoption, licensing, and sterilization, measure those outcomes and a system to continue the program after the Experience Matters Encore Fellows Program term ends. PetSmart Charities, Inc. will be paying $30,000 total on behalf of and for MCACC participation in the Experience Matters Encore Fellows Program; $20,000 will be paid to Isabel LeRoy in monthly allotments of $1,667and $10,000 for administrative expenses to the Arizona Community Foundation.
