30. NEW HOPE AGREEMENT WITH ROCKY MOUNTAIN GREAT DANE RESCUE Approve an Agreement between Rocky Mountain Great Dane Rescue, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation, 22 E. Allen St., Moab, UT 84532, and Maricopa County to allow Rocky Mountain Great Dane Rescue under the New Hope Program to rescue animals that have been deemed eligible for the New Hope program. The New Hope dogs will remain in Maricopa County with an affiliate agency. Maricopa County will provide a rabies vaccination, dog license tag and new owner transfer fee within the first year of rescue for each dog three months of age or older at no cost to the Contractor. The cost for these services is $41 for each animal rescued. Animal Care and Control estimates 4 new hope rescues over the term of the agreement, for a total of $164. The term of this Agreement is from August 8, 2012 through June 30, 2013. (C-79-13-007-3-00)
