29. NEW HOPE AGREEMENT WITH LUCKY PAWS RESCUE Approve an Agreement between Kelly Perry, d.b.a. Lucky Paws Rescue, 6423 E. Thomas Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85251, and Maricopa County to allow Lucky Paws Rescue under the New Hope Program to rescue animals that have been deemed eligible for the New Hope program. Maricopa County will provide a rabies vaccination, dog license tag and new owner transfer fee within the first year of rescue for each dog three months of age or older at no cost to the Contractor. The cost for these services is $41 for each animal rescued. Animal Care & Control estimates 180 new hope rescues over the term of the agreement, for a total of $7,380. The term of this Agreement is from November 14, 2012 through June 30, 2015. (C-79-13-070-3-00) 30. NEW HOPE AGREEMENT WITH TUCSON COLD WET NOSES Approve an Agreement between Tucson Cold Wet Noses, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation, 2209 N Northway Ave, Tucson, AZ 85716, and Maricopa County to allow Tucson Cold Wet Noses under the New Hope Program to rescue animals that have been deemed eligible for the New Hope program. Maricopa County will provide a rabies vaccination, dog license tag and new owner transfer fee within the first year of rescue for each dog three months of age or older at no cost to the Contractor. The cost for these services is forty-one dollars ($41) for each animal rescued. Animal Care and Control estimates 24 new hope rescues over the term of the agreement, for a total of $984.
