24. NEW HOPE AGREEMENT WITH PAPILLON HAVEN RESCUE Approve an Agreement between Papillon Haven Rescue, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation, P O Box 20306, Hot Springs, AR 71903, with affiliates in Arizona, and Maricopa County to allow Papillon Haven Rescue under the New Hope Program to rescue animals that have been deemed eligible for the New Hope program. Maricopa County will provide a rabies vaccination, dog license tag and new owner transfer fee within the first year of rescue for each dog three months of age or older at no cost to the Contractor. The cost for these services is $41 for each animal rescued. Animal Care and Control estimates 10 new hope rescues over the term of the agreement, for a total of $410. The term of this Agreement is from December 12, 2012 through June 30, 2014. (C-79-13-082-3-00)
