24. EXPENDITURE AUTHORITY FOR SPAY/NEUTER SURGERY EXPENDITURES Pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17106B, approve an increase of FY 2013 expenditure authority in Animal Care and Control (790) Animal Control Grant Fund (573) Non Recurring Non Project (0001) in the amount of $350,000. This additional authority is necessary due to expenditures associated with donation funded spay/neuter surgeries. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore expenditure of the revenues is not prohibited by the budget law. This budget adjustment does not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105. (C-79-13-139-2-00)
