19. AGREEMENT TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PETSMART/PETSMART CHARITIES ADOPTION PROGRAM Approve and execute the Agreement to Participate in the PetSmart/PetSmart Charities Adoption Program between PetSmart Charities, Inc., and Maricopa County for opportunities to use retail space located within PetSmart Stores as an Adoption Center operated by Maricopa County Animal Care and Control. The term of this Agreement shall be for one year from date fully executed. PetSmart Charities Adoption Program assists Maricopa County Animal Care & Control (MCACC) to find homes for homeless pets by allowing MCACC with permission from PetSmart, Inc. to use available space within the PetSmart stores to showcase adoptable animals. Maricopa County will supply animals and staffing to operate the Adoption Center. Animals and staff will be relocated from existing shelters to the Adoption Center. PetSmart Charities will provide the space, cages, equipment, pet food, utilities, at no cost to Maricopa County. (C-79-14-004-3-00)
