23. NEW HOPE AGREEMENT WITH UNDERDOG RESCUE OF AZ, INC. Approve an Agreement between Underdog Rescue of AZ, Inc., a 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation, 862 E Taurus Place, Chandler, AZ 85249, and Maricopa County to allow Underdog Rescue of AZ, Inc. under the New Hope Program to rescue animals that have been deemed eligible for the New Hope program. Maricopa County will provide a rabies vaccination, dog license tag and new owner transfer fee within the first year of rescue for each dog three months of age or older at no cost to the Contractor. The cost for these services is forty-one dollars ($41) for each animal rescued. Animal Care and Control estimates 10 new hope rescues over the term of the agreement, for a total of $410. The term of this Agreement is from September 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014. (C-79-14-022-3-00)
