24. NEW HOPE AGREEMENT WITH AKITA ADVOCATES RELOCATION TEAM ARIZONA Approve an Agreement between Akita Advocates Relocation Team Arizona, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation, P O Box 12016, Glendale, AZ 85318, and Maricopa County to allow Akita Advocates Relocation Team Arizona under the New Hope Program to rescue animals that have been deemed eligible for the New Hope program. Maricopa County will provide a rabies vaccination, dog license tag and new owner transfer fee within the first year of rescue for each dog three months of age or older at no cost to the Contractor. The cost for these services is $41 for each animal rescued. Animal Care and Control estimates 300 new hope rescues over the term of the agreement, for a total of $12,300. The term of this Agreement is from October 23, 2013 through June 30, 2016. (C-79-14-054-3-00)
