25. NEW HOPE AGREEMENT WITH KELLY FERREIRA, D.B.A. M.A.I.N. (MEDICAL ANIMALS IN NEED) Approve an Agreement between Kelly Ferreira, d.b.a. M.A.I.N. (Medical Animals in Need), P O Box 46365, Phoenix, AZ 85063, and Maricopa County to allow M.A.I.N. (Medical Animals in Need) under the New Hope Program to rescue animals that have been deemed eligible for the New Hope program. Maricopa County will provide a rabies vaccination, dog license tag and new owner transfer fee within the first year of rescue for each dog three months of age or older at no cost to the Contractor. The cost for these services is $41 for each animal rescued. Animal Care & Control estimates 300 new hope rescues over the term of the agreement, for a total of $12,300. The term of this Agreement is from October 23, 2013 through June 30, 2016. (C-79-14-055-3-00)
