22. NEW HOPE AGREEMENT WITH 2ND CHANCE DOG RESCUE Approve an Agreement between 2nd Chance Dog Rescue, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation, 2449 W Angel Way, Queen Creek, AZ 85142, and Maricopa County to allow 2nd Chance Dog Rescue under the New Hope Program to rescue animals that have been deemed eligible for the New Hope program. Maricopa County will provide a rabies vaccination, dog license tag and new owner transfer fee within the first year of rescue for each dog three months of age or older at no cost to the Contractor. The cost for these services is forty-one dollars ($41) for each animal rescued. Animal Care and Control estimates 16 new hope rescues over the term of the agreement, for a total of $656. The term of this Agreement is from July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2017. (C-79-14-109-3-00)
