26. AGREEMENT WITH WESTERN MARICOPA EDUCATION CENTER Approve an Agreement between Western Maricopa Education Center, commonly known as West-MEC and Maricopa County in which Maricopa County Animal Care & Control (MCACC) will provide animals for diagnostic and medical attention on an as-needed basic for specific educational modules being taught by West-MEC, veterinary assistance program, such as dental procedures, spay and neuter, and grooming. Veterinary care will be done in accordance with veterinary standards of practice set by the American Veterinary Medical Association. Animals will receive disease evaluations and medical treatment not provided by MCACC. Term of the Agreement is from November 5, 2014 through June 30, 2015. (C-79-15-042-3-00)
