25. NEW HOPE AGREEMENT WITH PRESLEY'S PALS DOG RESCUE Approve an Agreement between Presley’s Pals Dog Rescue, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation, 2230 E Clarendon Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85016 and Maricopa County to allow Presley’s Pals Dog Rescue under the New Hope Program to rescue animals that have been deemed eligible for the New Hope program. Maricopa County will provide a rabies vaccination, dog license tag and new owner transfer fee within the first year of rescue for each dog three months of age or older at no cost to the Contractor. The cost for these services is forty-one dollars ($41) for each animal rescued. Animal Care and Control estimates 45 new hope rescues over the term of the agreement, for a total of $1,845. The term of this Agreement is from January 21, 2015 through June 30, 2016. (C-79-15-073-3-00)
