31. NEW HOPE AGREEMENT WITH VALLEY OF THE SUN GIANT SCHNAUZER RESCUE Approve an Agreement between Julie Barnhill, d.b.a. Valley of the Sun Giant Schnauzer Rescue, P O Box 8984, Surprise, AZ 85374 and Maricopa County to allow Valley of the Sun Giant Schnauzer Rescue under the New Hope Program to rescue animals that have been deemed eligible for the New Hope program. Maricopa County will provide a rabies vaccination, dog license tag and new owner transfer fee within the first year of rescue for each dog three months of age or older at no cost to the Contractor. The cost for these services is forty-one dollars ($41) for each animal rescued. Animal Care & Control estimates 38 new hope rescues over the term of the agreement, for a total of $1,558. The term of this Agreement is from May 1, 2015 through June 30, 2018. (C-79-15-102-3-00)
