23. IGA WITH THE ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS ADMINISTERED BY THE GEO GROUP, INC., FOR INMATE LABOR FORCE Approve an agreement between Maricopa County through Maricopa County Animal Care & Control (MCACC) and the Arizona Department of Corrections administered by The GEO Group, Inc., for an inmate labor force to support kennel sanitation of the County animal shelter, located at 2500 S 27th Ave, Phoenix, AZ. The term of the IGA shall commence upon full execution of signatures and continue for five (5) years. The County shall pay $0.50 per hour for inmate labor at an estimated cost of $6,240 annually, based on a thirty (30) hour work week and labor services of up to eight (8) inmates to support kennel sanitation of the West Shelter. The term of the IGA shall commence upon full execution of signatures for five (5) years, beginning October 7, 2015 through October 6, 2020. (C-79-16-014-3-00)

34. AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS TO CHANGE THE SCOPE OF THE AGREEMENT Approve Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement (C-79-16-014-3-00) between Maricopa County through Maricopa County Animal Care & Control (MCACC) and the Arizona Department of Corrections administered by The GEO Group, Inc., to increase the number of maximum inmates from eight (8) to fifteen (15) and to increase the days from five (5) to seven (7) at an increased expense of $10,140 annually. All other terms and conditions of the original agreement remain in full force and effect. Authorize the Chairman to sign all documents related to Amendment No. 1, as applicable. (C-79-16-014-3-01)
