30. RESTRICTED DONATION FROM THE ALLIANCE FOR COMPANION ANIMALS Accept a restricted donation from the Alliance for Companion Animals (Alliance) in the amount of $43,532 to fund a Community Outreach position that will be managed by Maricopa County Animal Care & Control (MCACC). The Alliance is committed to a total donation of $43,532 for a twelve (12) month period to begin on date of hire. First payment of $22,794 has been made to MCACC on September 28, 2015. Funds must be spent per this project by the end of calendar year 2016 or returned to the Alliance. In consideration for this funding, MCACC will provide a monthly status report on the outreach within zip codes 85033 and 85041 to the Alliance. Donation revenue funds are deposited into Fund 572 as they are received. Donation funds are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitations, and therefore expenditures of these revenues are not prohibited by the budget law. The approval of this action requested does not alter the budget constraining the expenditures of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105. (C-79-16-061-D-00)
