25. NEW HOPE AGREEMENT WITH RUBY RANCH PET RESCUE AND SANCTUARY Approve an Agreement between Ruby Ranch Pet Rescue and Sanctuary, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation, and Maricopa County to allow Ruby Ranch Pet Rescue and Sanctuary under the New Hope Program to rescue animals that have been deemed eligible for the New Hope program. Maricopa County will provide a rabies vaccination, dog license tag and new owner transfer fee within the first year of rescue for each dog three months of age or older at no cost to the Contractor. The cost for these services is forty-one dollars ($41) for each animal rescued. Animal Care and Control estimates 135 new hope rescues over the term of the agreement, for a total of $5,535. The term of this Agreement is from March 23, 2016 through June 30, 2018. (C-79-16-079-3-00)
