27. IGA WITH ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS FOR INMATE LABOR FORCE Approve an IGA between Maricopa County through Maricopa County Animal Care & Control (MCACC) and the Arizona Department of Corrections, for an inmate labor force to support the general housekeeping/janitorial, landscaping, and light maintenance services of the County animal shelter, located at 2630 W Rio Salado Parkway, Mesa, Arizona. The County shall pay $0.50 per hour for inmate labor at an estimated cost of $10,192, based on a 49 hour work week and labor services of eight (8) inmates. The term of the IGA shall commence upon full execution of signatures for one year with the option to renew the IGA for four additional one year terms. (C-79-16-107-3-00)

25. TERMINATION OF IGA WITH ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS FOR INMATE LABOR FORCE Terminate the IGA with Arizona Department of Corrections for inmate labor force (C-79-16-107-3-00) between Arizona Department of Corrections, and Maricopa County Animal Care and Control. Authorize the Director of Animal Care and Control to execute termination to Arizona Department of Corrections for any and all inmate labor within Animal Care and Control located at 2630 W. Rio Salado Pkwy, Mesa, AZ 85201. The effective date of termination is July 31, 2016. The contract was entered into for one (1) year with the Arizona Department of Corrections for an inmate labor force to support the internal housekeeping/janitorial landscaping, and light maintenance services of the County animal shelter, located at 2630 W Rio Slado Parkway, Mesa, AZ 85201.
