44. NEW HOPE AGREEMENT WITH AZ CENTER FOR ANIMAL RESCUE AND EDUCATION Approve an agreement between AZ Center for Animal Rescue and Education, a 501(C) 3 corporation and Maricopa County to allow AZ Center for Animal Rescue and Education under the New Hope Program to rescue animals that have been deemed eligible for the New Hope program. Maricopa County will provide a rabies vaccination, dog license tag and new owner transfer fee within the first year of rescue for each dog three months of age or older at no cost to the Contractor. The cost for these services is $41 for each animal rescued. Animal Care and Control estimates 4 new hope rescues over the term of the agreement, for a total of $164. The term of this Agreement is through June 30, 2018. (C-79-17-018-M-00)
