20. IGA WITH ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS FOR INMATE LABOR FORCE Approve an IGA between Maricopa County through Maricopa County Animal Care & Control (MCACC) and the Arizona Department of Corrections, for an inmate labor force to support the general housekeeping/janitorial, landscaping, and light maintenance services of the County animal shelter, located at 2630 W Rio Salado Parkway, Mesa, Arizona. The County shall pay $0.50 per hour for inmate labor at an estimated cost of $10,192, based on a 49 hour work week and labor services of eight (8) inmates. In addition, the County will pay for mileage to transport the inmates and for Correctional Officer supervision for Saturdays and Sundays work crews at an estimated cost of $31,376. The term of the IGA is November 16, 2016 to April 12, 2021 and shall commence upon full execution of signatures through. (C-79-17-024-M-00)
