GRANT RECONCILIATION FOR UNUSED FUNDS FOR MADDIE'S GRANT AND ASPCA Pursuant to A.R.S. § 42-17106, approve an appropriation adjustment resulting in an expenditure increase of $33,247 and a revenue increase of $33,247 in FY18 Animal Care & Control (D790) Grant Fund (573) Operating(OPER). This increase is the result of the grant reconciliation process. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation. Therefore, expenditure of these revenues are not prohibited by the budget law. This budget adjustment does not alter the budget constraining the expenditures of local revenue duly adopted by the Board pursuant to ARS § 42-17105. The grant allows a 0% rate for indirect costs, or $0 which may be incurred by Animal Care or Maricopa County for the administration of this grant. The Maricopa County Department of Finance has calculated the Animal Care's composite indirect cost rate at 11.1%. The recoverable indirect cost of administering this grant is $0 and the non-recoverable indirect cost is $3,690. (C-79-18-009-G-00)
