27.NEW HOPE AGREEMENT WITH ARIZONA SHELTIE RESCUE INC.Approve an agreement between Arizona Sheltie Rescue Inc. and Maricopa County, administered by Maricopa County Animal Care and Control to allow Arizona Sheltie Rescue Inc. under the New Hope Program to transfer animals that have been deemed eligible for the New Hope program. Maricopa County will provide a rabies vaccination, dog license tag, and new owner transfer fee within the first year of transfer for each dog three months of age or older

27. NEW HOPE AGREEMENT WITH ARIZONA SHELTIE RESCUE INC. Approve an agreement between Arizona Sheltie Rescue Inc. and Maricopa County, administered by Maricopa County Animal Care and Control to allow Arizona Sheltie Rescue Inc. under the New Hope Program to transfer animals that have been deemed eligible for the New Hope program. Maricopa County will provide a rabies vaccination, dog license tag, and new owner transfer fee within the first year of transfer for each dog three months of age or older at no cost to the Contractor. The cost for these services is $55 for each animal transferred. Animal Care and Control estimates 3 New Hope transfers over the term of the agreement for a total of $165. The term of this agreement is from September 1, 2017 through August 31, 2020. (C-79-18-041-3-00)
