40. NEW HOPE AGREEMENT WITH THE HERMITAGE NO-KILL CAT SHELTER Approve an agreement between The Hermitage No-Kill Cat Shelter and Maricopa County, administered by Maricopa County Animal Care and Control to allow The Hermitage No-Kill Cat Shelter under the New Hope Program to transfer animals that have been deemed eligible for the New Hope program. Maricopa County will provide a rabies vaccination for each cat three months of age or older at no cost to the Contractor. The cost for these services is $20 for each animal transferred. Animal Care and Control estimates 45 New Hope transfers over the term of the agreement for a total of $900. The term of this agreement is from October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2020.
