53. AGREEMENT WITH LANCE STAFKO, PAPA JOHN’S PIZZA Approve an agreement between Lance Stafko of Papa John’s Pizza and Maricopa County, administered by Maricopa County Animal Care and Control, to allow a promotion offering discounts to Papa John’s customers in 50 stores in Arizona whereby ten percent (10%) of the discounted pizza purchases will be donated back to Maricopa County Animal Care and Control. This promotion will be effective from September 2017 through September 2018 with a one-year option to renew for both sides; renewal options shall be submitted in writing 30 days before the expiration of the current dates of promotion. The promotion will offer customers a forty percent (40%) discount of their online pizza purchase and will run in 50 stores in Arizona. Ten percent (10%) of the discounted pizza purchase will be donated back to Maricopa County Animal Care and Control. The total paid will not exceed more than $1 million ($1,000,000) during the active dates of the promotion. Donations will be paid to Maricopa County Animal Care and Control within 10 days of the conclusion of the program. The use of these donations is unrestricted. (C-79-18-072-D-00)
