21. AMENDMENT TO COMPETITION IMPRACTICABLE WITH HLP, INC (VET IMPORT SOFTWARE - 13076-SS) Approve an amendment to the Competition Impracticable, originally approved by the Board of Supervisors on January 17, 2018, under C-79-18-094-3-00, between Maricopa County and HLP, Inc. HLP, Inc is the sole developer, proprietor, and distributor of CMS software, also known as Chameleon, that has been purchased and installed by Animal Care & Control. This software enables the registration of licensing data, intake, disposition, and all other facets of animal tracking. The amendment, beginning on July 1, 2018 and ending on June 30, 2019, will cover annual fees, support, and maintenance associated with the software, upgrades to the database, and upgrades to the web-portal allowing the public easier access for both licensing, renewals, and donations. The cost of this amendment is $173,150. (C-79-18-094-3-01)
