ANIMAL CARE AND CONTROL UNRESTRICTED MONETARY DONATIONS FOR NOVEMBER 2017 Accept the unrestricted monetary donations of John Peterson ($250), Debra Taurisano ($260), Angela Snoddt ($400), Angelica Gonzalez ($500), Trisha Neely ($500), Becky Chase ($500), Michelle Grace ($500), Ocotillo Animal Clinic ($561), Doug Henriksen ($883.90), Truist Comprenen Distribution ($900), Sara Diercks ($1,000), Paul Chaisson ($1,153.19), Arizona Animal Rescue Mission ($1,269.64), Best Friends Animal Rescue ($2,500), Yvonne Short ($2,899.96), Anuj Narang ($5,000), and Arizona Community Foundation ($11,000) for the care of the animals. Donation revenue funds are deposited into Fund 572 as they are received. Donation funds are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitations and therefore expenditures of these revenues are not prohibited by the budget law. The approval of this action requested does not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105. Maricopa County Animal Care and Control received $30,077.69 in donations for the care of the animals. Donation funds are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitations and therefore expenditures of these revenues are not prohibited by the budget law.
