38. NEW HOPE AGREEMENT WITH ARIZONA GREYHOUND & ANIMAL RESCUE FUND Approve an agreement between Arizona Greyhound & Animal Rescue Fund and Maricopa County, administered by Maricopa County Animal Care and Control, to allow Arizona Greyhound & Animal Rescue Fund under the New Hope Program to transfer animals that have been deemed eligible for the New Hope program. Maricopa County will provide a rabies vaccination, dog license tag, and new owner transfer fee within the first year of transfer for each dog three months of age or older at no cost to the Contractor. The cost for these services is $55 for each animal transferred. Animal Care and Control estimates six (6) New Hope transfers over the term of the agreement for a total of $330. The term of this agreement is January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2020. (C-79-18-102-3-00)
