25. NEW HOPE AGREEMENT WITH JULIE BARNHILL DBA VALLEY OF THE SUN GIANT SCHNAUZER RESCUE Approve an agreement between Julie Barnhill d.b.a. Valley of the Sun Giant Schnauzer Rescue and Maricopa County, administered by Maricopa County Animal Care and Control to allow Valley of the Sun Giant Schnauzer Rescue, under the New Hope Program, to transfer animals that have been deemed eligible for the New Hope program. Maricopa County will provide a rabies vaccination, dog license tag, and new owner transfer fee within the first year of transfer for each dog three months of age or older at no cost to the Contractor. The cost for these services is $55 for each animal transferred. Animal Care and Control estimates 15 New Hope transfers over the term of the agreement for a total of $825. The term of this agreement is February 1, 2018 through January 31, 2021. (C-79-18-105-3-00)
