27. DONATION FROM ARIZONA ANIMAL RESCUE MISSION Accept the restricted monetary donation of $350.00 from Arizona Animal Rescue Mission (AARM) to be used for payment of the Colorado Department of Agriculture Pet Animal Care Facilities Act (PACFA) Application. Donation revenue funds are deposited into Fund 572 as they are received. Donation funds are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitations and therefore expenditures of these revenues are not prohibited by the budget law. The approval of this action requested does not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105. This donation is being funded for payment of a license application under the Colorado Department of Agriculture Pet Animal Care Facilities Act (PACFA), allowing Maricopa County Animal Care and Control to transfer animals to shelters and rescues in Colorado furthering reducing euthanasia of impounded pets.
