DONATIONS FOR JANUARY 2018 Accept the unrestricted monetary donations of Michael Rothkopf ($280), Carol Zylstra ($310), Pamela Eilert ($350), Ann Couser ($500), Anthony Marks ($500), William Seitter ($1,000), Arthur Chase ($2,804), and the Benevity Community Impact Fund ($2,410) for the care of the animals. Donation revenue funds are deposited into Fund 572 as they are received. Donation funds are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitations and therefore expenditures of these revenues are not prohibited by the budget law. The approval of this action requested does not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105. Maricopa County Animal Care and Control received $8,154 in donations for the care of the animals. Donation funds are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitations and therefore expenditures of these revenues are not prohibited by the budget law.
