16.NEW HOPE AGREEMENT WITH LIVING THE DREAM RESCUENew Hope Action Requested: Approve an agreement between Living The Dream Rescue and Maricopa County, administered by Maricopa County Animal Care and Control, to allow Living The Dream Rescue to transfer animals that have been deemed eligible for the New Hope program. Maricopa County will provide a rabies vaccination, dog license tag, and new owner transfer fee within the first year of transfer for each dog three months of age or older at no cost

16. NEW HOPE AGREEMENT WITH LIVING THE DREAM RESCUE New Hope Action Requested: Approve an agreement between Living The Dream Rescue and Maricopa County, administered by Maricopa County Animal Care and Control, to allow Living The Dream Rescue to transfer animals that have been deemed eligible for the New Hope program. Maricopa County will provide a rabies vaccination, dog license tag, and new owner transfer fee within the first year of transfer for each dog three months of age or older at no cost to the Contractor. The cost for these services is $55 for each animal transferred. Animal Care and Control estimates 7 New Hope transfers over the term of the agreement for a total of $385. The term of this agreement is March 1, 2018 through February 28, 2019. (C-79-18-118-3-00)
