17. NEW HOPE AGREEMENT WITH SUNSHINE DOG RESCUE, INC. Approve an agreement between Sunshine Dog Rescue, Inc. and Maricopa County, administered by Maricopa County Animal Care and Control, to allow Sunshine Dog Rescue, Inc. to transfer animals that have been deemed eligible for the New Hope program. Maricopa County will provide a rabies vaccination, dog license tag, and new owner transfer fee within the first year of transfer for each dog three months of age or older at no cost to the Contractor. The cost for these services is $55 for each animal transferred. Animal Care and Control estimates 30 New Hope transfers over the term of the agreement for a total of $1,650. The term of this agreement is March 1, 2018 through February 28, 2021. (C-79-18-120-3-00)
