16. NEW HOPE AGREEMENT WITH GHOST TOWN DOGS 1, INC. D/B/A GHOST TOWN DOG RESCUE Approve an agreement between Ghost Town Dogs 1, Inc. d/b/a Ghost Town Dog Rescue and Maricopa County, through Maricopa County Animal Care and Control, to allow Ghost Town Dog Rescue, under the New Hope Program, to transfer animals that have been deemed eligible for the New Hope program. Maricopa County will provide a rabies vaccination, dog license tag, and new owner transfer fee within the first year of transfer for each dog three months of age or older at no cost to the Contractor. The cost for these services is $55 for each animal transferred. Animal Care and Control estimates 47 New Hope transfers over the term of the agreement for a total of $2,585. The term of this agreement is June 1, 2018 through May 31, 2019. (C-79-18-133-3-00)
