35. NEW HOPE AGREEMENT WITH ARIZONA GOLDEN RESCUE Approve an agreement between Arizona Golden Rescue and Maricopa County, administered by Maricopa County Animal Care and Control, to allow Arizona Golden Rescue to transfer animals that have been deemed eligible for the New Hope program. Maricopa County will provide a rabies vaccination, dog license tag, and new owner transfer fee within the first year of transfer for each dog three months of age or older at no cost to the Contractor. The cost for these services is $51 per animal transferred in FY 2019 and $52 per animal beginning in FY 2020 . Animal Care and Control estimates 21 New Hope transfers over the term of the agreement for a total of $1,085. The term of this agreement is July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2021. (C-79-18-149-3-00)
