29. DONATIONS FROM BEST FRIENDS ANIMAL SOCIETY FOR LICENSING AND ADOPTION FEES Accept the following restricted monetary donations from Best Friends Animal Society totaling $35,523: * $4,700 in payment of licensing fees for 171 dogs ($21/license) during a Bissell sponsored adoption event, with the remaining funds to be used towards adoption fees; * $30,823 in payment of 212 dog adoption fees ($135/dog), 21 cat adoption fees ($50), and 233 microchips ($4.95) during a Bissell sponsored adoption event. Donation revenue funds are deposited into Fund 572 as they are received. Donation funds are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitations and therefore expenditures of these revenues are not prohibited by the budget law. The approval of this action requested does not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105. (C-79-19-033-D-00)
