25. DONATION FROM ARIZONA ANIMAL RESCUE MISSION (AARM) FOR A TRANSPORT VEHICLE Accept the restricted monetary donation in the amount of $25,000 from the Arizona Animal Rescue Mission (AARM) for the purchase of an animal transport van. The vehicle will not be an addition to the fleet, but will replace an existing vehicle. Donation revenue funds are deposited into Fund 572 as they are received. Donation funds are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitations and therefore expenditures of these revenues are not prohibited by the budget law. The approval of this action requested does not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105. Animal Care & Control received $25,000 in a restricted donation to purchase an animal transport van that will be used primarily to transport animals out of the County. (C-79-19-046-D-00)

36. ONE-TIME ADDITION TO FLEET Approve a one-time addition to the fleet of an animal transport vehicle, the value of which is not to exceed $25,000. This vehicle will be used to transfer animals between the East and West shelters, as well as transport animals out of the county. This is a one-time vehicle purchase using restricted donation funds approved by the Board on October 24, 2018 (C-79-19-046-D-00). No general fund monies will be used for the purchase of this vehicle. This vehicle will be retired at the end of its useful life. Annual operating and maintenance costs are estimated to be $3,000 and will be funded by donation and fee revenue in the Animal Control License/Shelter Fund 572. (C-79-19-058-V-00)
