8. NEW HOPE AGREEMENT WITH DANE HAVEN, INC. Approve an agreement between Dane Haven, Inc. and Maricopa County, administered by Maricopa County Animal Care and Control, to allow Dane Haven, Inc. to transfer animals that have been deemed eligible for the New Hope program. Maricopa County will provide a rabies vaccination, dog license tag, and new owner transfer fee within the first year of transfer for each dog three months of age or older at no cost to the Contractor. The cost for these services is $51 for each animal transferred in FY 2019 and $52 for each animal transferred thereafter. Animal Care and Control estimates 12 New Hope transfers over the term of the agreement for a total of $622. The term of this agreement is January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2021.
