DONATIONS FOR MARCH 2020 Accept the following restricted donations for March 2020: $540 from Two Pups Wellness Fund, through the Arizona Community Foundation, for the purchase of microchips to be used for stray animals that are returned to their owners, providing an important piece of identification. $1,451.50 from the Community Canine Project for the purchase of microchips to be used for stray animals that are returned to their owners, providing an important piece of identification. $2,929 from the Arizona Pet Project for the purchase of enrichment items to benefit the shelter animals. $9,750 from the Bissell Pet Foundation in payment of of adoption fees during a sponsored event. $27,711 from the Petco Foundation for payment of cancer related medical expenses for shelter animals, foster animals, and recently adopted animals, which treatment cannot be provided by MCACC. Donation funds are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitations and therefore expenditures of these revenues are not prohibited by the budget law. The approval of this action requested does not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105. (C-79-20-090-8-00)
