52.NEW HOPE AGREEMENT WITH FOLLOW YOUR HEART FOUNDATION INC. Approve an agreement between Follow Your Heart Foundation Inc. and Maricopa County, administered by Maricopa County Animal Care and Control, to allow said rescue to transfer animals that have been deemed eligible for the New Hope program. Maricopa County will provide a rabies vaccination, dog license tag, and new owner transfer fee within the first year of transfer for each dog three months of age or older at no cost to the Contractor.

52. NEW HOPE AGREEMENT WITH FOLLOW YOUR HEART FOUNDATION INC. Approve an agreement between Follow Your Heart Foundation Inc. and Maricopa County, administered by Maricopa County Animal Care and Control, to allow said rescue to transfer animals that have been deemed eligible for the New Hope program. Maricopa County will provide a rabies vaccination, dog license tag, and new owner transfer fee within the first year of transfer for each dog three months of age or older at no cost to the Contractor. The cost for these services is $52 for each animal transferred in FY 2022 and thereafter. Animal Care and Control estimates sixty-seven (67) New Hope transfers annually, for a total of $3,484 per year, over the term of the agreement. The term of this agreement shall commence upon approval and execution by the Board and will expire on May 05, 2025. (C-79-22-195-X-00)
