SHELTERING AND INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH CITY OF SCOTTSDALE FOR ANIMAL SERVICES Approve a Sheltering Agreement and an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between Maricopa County Animal Care and Control and the City of Scottsdale for animal sheltering and control services. The initial term of the agreement provides services from July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2027 with the option of renewals as set forth in paragraph 5 of the Sheltering Agreement and paragraph 4 of the IGA. The City of Scottsdale agrees to pay the annual sum of $0 for sheltering services provided during the initial term of the Agreement, as set forth in Appendix A of the Agreement; and agrees to pay the annual sum of $147,977 for animal control services provided during the initial term of the IGA Agreement, as set forth in Appendix A of the Agreement. 59. AMENDMENT TO IGA WITH CITY OF SCOTTSDALE FOR ANIMAL CONTROL SERVICES Approve and execute the first amendment to an IGA for Maricopa Animal Care and Control and the City of Scottsdale. The first amendment revises Revise Appendix B ("Services") of the original Agreement to add the following term to read: The County will provide an additional six (6) enforcement [to equal a total of six (6) annually] patrols coordinated with the City for the Sonoran McDowell Preserve. The cost per patrol is calculated at $800 per patrol day which includes hours spent within city limits to conduct the service. This Amendment shall be effective and retroactive to July 1, 2022 ("the Effective Date"). All terms and clauses of the original Agreement remain in effect. (C-79-22-202-X-01)
