56. AGREEMENT WITH MARICOPA COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT ON BEHALF OF MESA COMMUNITY COLLEGE Approve a new agreement with Maricopa County Community College District on behalf of Mesa Community College and Maricopa County through the Maricopa County Animal Care and Control (MCACC), in which Mesa Community College of Veterinary Medicine, as part of their educational modules, will house select animals provided by MCACC prior to adoption for the purpose of providing medically necessary veterinary services such as dental procedures, spay and neuter, and grooming. Veterinary care will be done in accordance with veterinary standards of practice set by the American Veterinary Medical Association. Term of the Agreement is from September 1, 2022 through September 1, 2025 with the opportunity to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year terms upon the written agreement of the parties.
