37. ESTABLISH ADMINISTRATIVE BANK ACCOUNT AND BUDGET ADJUSTMENT Pursuant to the Administrative Bank Accounts Policy A2504, Animal Care and Control (ACC) is requesting authorization to establish an administrative bank account and request a budget adjustment for an anticipated one-time donation. ACC received notification it is named as a beneficiary to a decedent’s Fidelity Investment account with a balance of approximately $76,000. To receive the funds, ACC needs to create an administrative bank account to move the funds from the decedent’s account to ACC's account. Once the funds are released to ACC, the Fidelity account will be closed automatically. In accordance with A. R. S 42-17106(B), approve the following adjustments to the FY 2024 budget: Increase the revenue and expenditure authority for the Animal Care and Control (D790) Animal Care Donations Fund (575) Operating (OPER) by $76,000 due to an unanticipated one-time donation. Donation funds are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitations and, therefore, expenditures of these revenues are not prohibited by the budget law. The approval of this action requested does not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105. (C-79-24-005-X-00)
