54. HUMANE WORLD FOR ANIMALS GRANT Approve non-cash grant award from Humane World for Animals for $2,443. This grant award covers conference registration, hotel, and airfare for one Animal Care and Control employee to attend the Animal Care Expo which will be held between April 7th and April 10th, 2026. Animal Care Expo is the largest international educational conference and trade show for animal welfare professionals and volunteers. Experts from across the globe and all facets of animal welfare will join together to explore innovative programs and exchange best practices. This is a one time grant and there are no cash or matching requirements. There are no indirect costs applicable to the grant award and no future ongoing contributions. This does not fulfill a mandated service. The grant is non-competitive. (C-79-26-034-X-00)
