61. PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT WITH SKY SANCTUARY Approve an agreement between Sky Sanctuary and Maricopa County, administered by Maricopa County Animal Care and Control (MCACC), to allow Sky Sanctuary to implement its Sponsored Medical Program at MCACC’s East and West shelters. The purpose of the Sponsored Medical Program is to provide medical and foster support for long term or at-risk shelter dogs, ensuring they receive the necessary care to increase their chances of adoption and long-term placement in permanent homes. The program aims to expedite the adoption process by addressing the medical needs of the dogs while they remain under the care of MCACC. Sky Sanctuary will be responsible for all financial and volunteer support for the care of the sponsored dogs, including, but not limited to, off-site medical treatment, day fosters, and both short-term and long-term fosters. All treatment will be funded by Sky Sanctuary and carried out by volunteers and fosters registered with both MCACC and Sky Sanctuary. This agreement is effective upon execution and shall remain in effect unless terminated by either party with written notice. (C-79-27-013-X-00)
