20. APPOINTMENT OF SUPERIOR COURT COMMISSIONERS AS JUSTICE OF THE PEACE PRO TEMPORE Pursuant to A.R.S. § 22-121, approve the appointment of Superior Court Commissioner’s Patricia Starr and Christine Mulleneaux as Justices of the Peace Pro Tempore for the period commencing August 17, 2011 through December 31, 2011. The Superior Court respectfully requests the Board of Supervisors to approve the appointment of Superior Court Commissioner’s Patricia Starr and Christine Mulleneaux as Justices of the Peace Pro Tempore, in accordance with Arizona Revised Statutes § 22-121, to serve in various programs in the Justice Courts to reduce trial delay. This serves the interests of judicial economy and promotes sound case flow management. The Court Commissioners would serve as Justices of the Peace Pro Tempore without any additional compensation other than that to which they are entitled as Court Commissioners. (C-80-12-001-2-00)
