31. ONE TIME CONTINGENCY REQUEST In accordance with A.R.S. § 42-17106(B), authorize the following amendment to the FY 2014 budget: a) Decrease the expenditure authority for the Non Departmental (470) General Fund (100) Non Recurring Non Project (0001) Contingency (4711) in the line "Unreserved Contingency" by an amount not-to-exceed $500,428; b) Increase the expenditure authority in the Superior Court (800) General Fund (100) Non Recurring Non Project (0001) by an amount not-to-exceed $500,428; These actions will have a County-wide net impact of zero and they do not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. § 42-17105. Approval of actions will allow the Superior Court to meet its financial obligations which includes fees and mileage paid to jurors as well as costs of transcripts for Grand Jury proceedings. Actions will allow the Superior Court to continue working with the County as a justice partner in order to preserve and continue public safety, promote and advance effective and efficient case management and to continue development and maintenance of innovative programs, practices and policies.
