27. SUPERIOR COURT GRANTS FOR FY 2016 Accept the FY 2016 grants and associated revenue for Superior Court Administration of the Judicial Branch in the amount of $3,899,566 total. The indirect cost rate as of July 2015 is 53.6% as approved by the Department of Finance. Some of the grants for FY 2016 do not allow indirect cost recovery as reflected in the funding agreements. The status of indirect costs for each grant is on file in the office of the Clerk of the Board in accordance with ASLAPR retention policy. The amount of indirect costs on eligible expenditures are estimated to be $1,789,896 with $1,299,390 as unrecoverable and $490,506 as recoverable. Total matching amount is $309,125. Also, pursuant to A.R.S. § 42-17106, approve appropriation adjustment(s) resulting in a net increase to revenue and expenditures of $467,059 in FY 2016 Superior Court (800) Grants Fund (238) Operating (0000) budget. Approval of this item will result in an overall appropriation of $3,899,566 for revenues and expenditures in the Superior Court (800) Grants Fund (238) Operating (000) budget. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation and, therefore, expenditures of these revenues are not prohibited by the budget law. This request does not alter the budget constraining the expenditures of local revenues duly adopted by the board pursuant to A.R.S. § 42-17105. (C-80-16-008-2-00)
