31. FILL THE GAP PLAN In accordance with the provisions of A.R.S §12-102.02, subsection (C), authorize the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors to endorse and sign the FILL THE GAP plan submitted by the Presiding Judge of the Superior Court. In accordance with the statute, the plan has already been endorsed by the Presiding Judge of Superior Court, the Clerk of Superior Court, the Presiding Justice of the Peace in Maricopa County, and an elected Justice of the Peace in Maricopa County. Transfer FY2017 revenue and expenditure appropriations of $193,485 from the Superior Court (D800) Superior Court Fill the Gap Fund (264) Operating (1000) to the Non-Departmental (D470) Non-Departmental Grants Fund (249) Operating (1000). Transfer FY2017 expenditure appropriation of $30,755 from the Non-Departmental (D470) Non-Departmental Grants Fund (249) Non ­ Recurring (1001) to the Superior Court (D800) Superior Court Fill the Gap Fund (264) Non-Recurring (1001). Transfer FY2017 revenue and expenditure appropriations of $33,478 from the Non-Departmental (D470) Non-Departmental Grants Fund (249) Operating (1000) to the Clerk of Court (D160) Clerk of Court Fill the Gap Fund (218) Operating (1000). Transfer FY2017 expenditure appropriation of $83,655 from the Non-Departmental (D470) Non-Departmental Grants Fund (249) Non-Recurring (1001) to the Clerk of Court (D160) Clerk of Court Fill the Gap Fund (218) Non-Recurring (1001). Pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes 12-102.02 the Presiding Judge, in coordination with the Chairman of the County Board of Supervisors, the Clerk of the Superior Court, the Presiding Justice of the Peace, and an elected Justice of the Peace are to submit a plan to the Supreme Court that details how the funding provided for the Maricopa County FILL THE GAP plan will assist in improving criminal case processing.
