APPOINT MESA MUNICIPAL AND GLENDALE CITY COURT JUDGES AS SUPERIOR COURT JUDGES PRO TEMPORE Approve the appointment of Mesa Municipal Court Judges and Glendale City Court Judges as Superior Court Judges Pro Tempore in accordance with Arizona Revised Statutes § 12-141. The purpose for this appointment is to implement a pilot program with Mesa Municipal and Glendale City Courts regarding Rule 11 proceedings. This serves the interest of judicial economy and promotes sound case flow management. The Municipal and City Court Judges would serve as Superior Court Judges Pro Tempore without any additional compensation from the Superior Court of Arizona. The appointment will be for the period commencing July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018.
