27. ADDITION OF VEHICLES TO JUDICIAL BRANCH SECURITY FLEET Approve a permanent addition to the fleet of two (2) vehicles for Judicial Branch Security. These vehicles will be purchased using non-recurring funds that exist within Superior Court’s (D800) approved General Fund (Fund 100) non-recurring (1001) budget at an estimated cost of $60,000. Also, approve an exemption from markings, including the County seal, and issuance of non-governmental license plates per A.R.S. §38-538.03 in keeping with other vehicles within the Judicial Branch Security fleet. The vehicle information, including make, model, year, color and VIN number will be provided to the Clerk of the Board upon approval of this agenda and purchase of the vehicles. Direct the Budget Office to adjust the Vehicle Replacement Fund as necessary in future years to accommodate these vehicles being added to the permanent fleet. FY2020-21 additional one-time preparation costs needed to place these vehicles into service are estimated to be approximately $10,000. Funds for this expense exist within the Superior Court’s General Fund approved non-recurring budget. FY2020-21 additional operating expenses for these vehicles are estimated to be approximately $1,000. This cost will be absorbed in the Superior Court’s General Fund existing operating budget.
