44. CONTRACT EXTENSION WITH KACHINA AUTOMOTIVE FOR THE VVR&R PROGRAM Approve Amendment No. 3 to a Contract between Kachina Automotive Equipment, Inc. and Maricopa County through the Air Quality Department to extend the end date of the contract from December 31, 2008 to June 30, 2009, and to authorize an additional $287,500 for a new FY 2008-09 not-to-exceed amount of $575,000. This extension will continue the Voluntary Vehicle Repair and Retrofit Program (VVR&R) until a new contract can be put into place. This amendment is effective from January 1, 2009 to June 30, 2009. All other terms and conditions of the Contract remain in full force and effect. (C-85-07-001-1-03)

5. ADDENDUM TO CONTRACT WITH KACHINA AUTOMOTIVE EQUIPMENT Approve Addendum #1 to the Contract between Kachina Automotive Equipment, Inc. and Maricopa County through the Air Quality Department. The purpose of this Addendum is to add language to the contract regarding E-Verification of Employees and Compliance with A.R.S. §§35-391.06 AND 35-393.06. This Addendum is effective from date of Board approval through June 30, 2009. All other terms and conditions of the Contract remain in full force and effect. (C-85-07-001-1-04)
